Innovation, function and high quality have characterized Weland Medical since its inception in 1983. Requirements for a liquid-tight closure of a laminate bag in a special medical test product then gave birth to the “Weland clip”, which today is marketed and supplied globally under the WeLoc brand.
We have successively developed a wide range of closures for durable resealing of various flexible packages in medicine, food, animal feed, industry, etc. and WeLoc is also appreciated as a practical give away to strengthen your brand. Our strength is the close cooperation with our customers and distributors where we together solve their sealing problems, even if it means developing a new customized special version.
All manufacturing takes place within the group in Smålandsstenar at our sister company Weland Plastic AB, which is quality certified according to IATF 16949 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.
